When Steam Next Fest was going on throughout most of last week, there were so many demos from different videogames to try out. One that has caught my eye, however, is called “Potionomics”.
Potionomics is, supposedly, a fantasy strategy game where you play as Sylvia; the protagonist who was given the rights to her uncle’s potion shop. Throughout the shop, players must help Sylvia create potions and sell said potions to customers. To make the potions, however, she must collect ingredients from various locations that she will explore in the process.
There is more to this game than just making potions and selling them, Sylvia must also interact with her customers through a card-based minigame. Within said minigame, the players pick out cards that’ll benefit or damage Sylvia’s chances of persuading customers to purchase her products.
Speaking of customers, those are not the only people Sylvia will react to. She will have to go through many rivals in order to keep her business running. In addition to that, there might be a chance for Sylvia to find love with one of the few romance options within the game, as well; who knows!
Potionomics will be available for Steam only on October 17th, 2022!
